"KID ESCAPE is to abduction what Stop, Drop & Roll is to fire safety..." - Detective Chris Atwood, Retired, Kansas City PD

Closing my eyes, I can feel the cold concrete under my toes and sweat dripping from my forehead in my first Karate class circa 1972. So I could relate to the call from a Sensei, “I taught a stranger danger school assembly and unintentionally scared them. Parents are pulling their children out of my Little Tigers program”. So a couple months later we entertained 800 students in one very full day, and now everyone is happy. Teaching tough subjects isn’t easy, but I’ve spent years figuring it out, so you don’t have too.
